We just got a new pug puppy in the last few months and are just crazy about him. She is called Madison and is eleven weeks young. The trouble we are having with her is the awful housebreaking
Usually a pugs mood changes from day to day which is turning out to be a constant problem all the time You should see what she looks like when we both have to leave to go to work, she has such a long face on her.
Our small pug has days that she moans, goes to the door and the whole nine yards. Or if she can't get our attention for some reason she goes on her puppy pad and she gets all the praise
We have left every stone unturned to help her to go to the potty .Few weeks she wont go near her pad which is very frustrating. There are times when we take her out the back and show her the grass but to no avail
My husband suggested we bring her to a vet in the hope of finding a solution as pug dogs have been known to get tapeworms. Her diet has remained the same since the day we got her and she never gets tidbits as a friend of mine said that was the worst thing to do
She has even began to use the bathroom in her deary taxi again, I also read an article that pug puppies do have troubles yet we don't know why but she does her poops in her bed. We usually take her out every hour sometimes less if she has depleted a lot of water. The most tenacious stretch she goes is at bedtime of the night that is usually 6 -10 hrs, Some weeks ago I left the door open so she could go to the bathroom on her puppy pad but that was a failure. The nervy little monkey even went so far as to piddle on my husbands shirt, to say he was unhappy would be an understatement
We never raise our voices at her just simply take her away and tell her to go on the grass. Can you suggest us Are we confusing her with outside and the pad.I cant imagine what we have done wrong so that she is so confused.Any assistance would be apprized.I don't want to consider myself a failure but it is resembling that at the moment.
